Persuasive Essay Prompt

     Educators debate extending public school days  for an hour because of the increasing education gap as well as violence and lack of supervision at home. Some people thinks its a good idea and some people thinks its a bad idea,but from my opinion I got good reasons and some bad reasons  on why school should be  extending extending for an hour .the first reason why school should be extended for an hour is because it  could help students learn more the second reason why school should be  be extended is because it would   keep students off the streets.  The first reason why school shouldn't be extended  because some children go to school in the wrong  neighborhood and by them staying for an extra hour they could get hurt. The second bad reason why students shouldn't get an extra hour because students would get tired of  school  and drop out. 

The first reason why school should be extended for an hour is because it  could help students learn more some  students really  like learning but they don't all ways learn every thing they suppose to because the short amount of time they get to learn and some student don't all ways catch on as fast as most student so they probably need more time to catch up. By extending more time there giving students more focus because more time means more focus this is my first  good reason why school should be extended for an hour.

 The second reason why school should be  be extended is because it would   keep students off the streets 

when students are not in school they are probably outside some were and majority of theme are outside getting in trouble. When students are not in school they don't know what to do  so they just go out and have fun  but end up do something that get theme in trouble. This is my second reason why  school  be extended for an hour.
